Holy front-panel labels batman! the slider directly to the right of the bender stick controls the bend range... that s the only calibration i know of.

Yeah the low resolution of the DEG makes it pretty much impossible to get a smooth, slow sweep.

I am pretty sure Rush used a moog or an Oberheim for that. I am often after the same kind of sound. You can get close to it by playing with the 3rd envelope,

Install the moog slayer mod... Unfortunately, the MG LFO just doeesn t go slow enough to do that kind of sweep.

it was the msq 1 or 10 in 1985 I had one that was midi a roland device very limited on getting a groove. I never used any of the dcb stuff roland had for midi

Did you check the small switches near the connections ? There is a switch there for enabling/disabling the restore process.

The output needs to be LOUD. Crank the volume all the way up and see if you can t get it to respond. On mine the LEDs sort of pulse when it s receiving data.
