The XL-7 does not freewheel. If you re not sending it clock all the time, it s essentially stopped (tempo is 0). Some sequencers send clock all the time,

Yes, there is a blank Preset Bank in the files section of this group that you can use for this. Load this into the XL-7, and then use the Copy Bank command
