Hmm, the PX7 manual (ie the only ver 2.0 one) is not entirely bug free. eg p27, Time to Save? , 2. Rotate the data entry control until you get to the menu

yeah i had that problem too. it is like the mp7 locks out some notes during the transfering of tracks to nuendo. i solved it by recording 4 outputs at a time

Emu folks definitely have a sense of humour... if you drunkenly repeatedly try to MANUALLY COMPACT NOW even though it s NOT FOR EVERYDAY USE it sorts you out

Finally had the time to go through the new manual for the PX-7, gotta give Emu credit for greatly simplifying it, huge improvement over the Mp/XL-7 manual.

Go to MIX OUTPUT, 7th screen in the Global menu. Note that you have to physically have plugs in the jacks for them to function as external sends. -Aaron ...

I just checked. Xmit curent multi does send Name to your storage device. The E-Mu also RECEIVES the name and location!!!! ... send the Preset info ok though,

BTW, there s no need to restore the Presets, they re always there. You can t erase or overwrite the XL-7 ROM Presets, only the User Presets which are exact

E-Loader does not handle presets yet. It just does pattern, song and OS updates for now(+ numerous other things). You need to use a playback only sequencer in
