Was the 285e demonstrated at NAMM? If yes, might someone have audio or video of it?

gahh, y could be right. it has been a long weekend and my head hurts. i'm not sure if that little guy is actually implemented, it looks like not but i will check more when i get home to the DMM and the module itself. On Mon, Jan 19, 2009 at 2:10 PM, jon schatz wrote: > > On Jan 1

I got talked out of the 222e by Don and I am glad I did now because I am enjoying my Buchla 200e :-) So maybe it is just the 222e that is holding up I will order it later in the year.

I'm waiting on the 222e, 261e, 225e and the 201e-12.According to Don, the 222e is what is holding up my whole system. On Sun, Jan 18, 2009 at 9:20 PM, Barry J. Anderson wrote: > Are you guys waiting for just the 222e or is this a really long wait for > a whole system? I'm > sure

Are you guys waiting for just the 222e or is this a really long wait for a whole system? I'm sure it depends on the configuration, but I'm wondering if the other modules are taking a long time too. --- In 200e@yahoogroups.com, "code842" wrote: > > well, i guess they really try (i

I don't have an 250e but I have externally sequenced an AKS. I never hear of anyone interfacing 200e and EML stuff :-) (amusing I'm sure for those that have struggled with interfacing it's already 1.2v/oct gear but back to the topic...) What you have do depends on to what degree

2009-01-18 by mritenburg
Whether it will work as expected only depends on the voltage levels expected/output by the Synthi. 250e output is, if I am not mistaken: CV 0-10v Pulse 10v Pulse w/sustain 5v --- In 200e@yahoogroups.com, "sigmasixalka" wrote: > > I'm wondering if anyone on this list has successfu

Jon, I appreciate any help you can render. How accurate is your DMM for reading voltages? The best test would be to confirm the outputs at the stated voltages, then take them to two 259e/261es that are tuned exactly the same. If you here no beating between the VCOs when controlle

ok I try again: cray's two questions on the 256e: is it like the 210e? is it like the 281e's OR section? I personally feel it's more like the OR section than the 210e (though I say clearly: it really is a personal question. a personable question !). Set up your 281e like how I de

no. The OR section only has a control for the second input. The first input is always at maximum. It is not a crossfader between the 2. AND, the crossfader in the 256e mixes the two signals together, it does not give only the higher of the two. That means if the lower of the 2 si

Thanks Yasi for the reply.... what I was trying to ask in a very simplistic/naive way was ....to my mind the OR's seem to mix A and B voltage by turning the dial left or right, so therefore isnt that to a small extent what the 256e does? What exactly are breakpoints? > >

Many use the terms "Ring modulation" and "Balanced modulation" to mean the same thing - the two input signals (or one input and one reference signal, typically a sine wave) are multiplied in the time domain to produce one output. This output contains all the sums and differences
