Pneuma - New Lainhart Film On Vimeo

Pneuma http://www.vimeo.com/1014353 "Pneuma" is based on growth patterns generated by celluar automata software, processed in Adobe After Effects to create constantly changing structures ranging from crystalline to architectural. The soundtrack is a live improvisation on the Buch

I've been thinking along those lines too. Although I'm thinking for budget reasons one module at a time and not stopping at 4. As for myself, I'm weighing what I already have in non-Buchla modules . To give you suggestions I at least would think it's crucial to know if you have o

Hi Nicholas, The 222e is best installed in a 12 or 18 cabinet. We can easily install a 6 unit boat in a cabinet. Or we can trade it in at full value on a 12 cabinet. Best wishes, Don Buchla nicholas_kent wrote: I just want to make sure I understand. Is it correct that the 222e ca

222e in a cabinet only?

2008-05-14 by nicholas_kent

I just want to make sure I understand. Is it correct that the 222e can only be properly installed in a 12 or 18 cabinet? Also since as I understand it, say you have a 6 unit boat, which I take is more or less the center boat in the 18 unit cabinet. So would it be practical at a l

Re: [200e] Some questions about the 291e

2008-05-13 by ezra buchla

hello there are three filters in the 291e. each has its own output; there is also a summed output of all filters, each with its "amplitude" applied. so amplitude means exactly that; like a builtin vca for each filter, except it can actually apply some gain as well as attenuation.

hi, - what is meant by 'Amplitude'? Is this what is called resonance on other filters? And if so, does the 291e self oscillate? - What are the frequency ranges of the filter? The frequency pot has a max value of 4k but the bandwidth pot has a max value of 100 which I don't unders

Hello, Yeah, on the Rails the pulses are properly converted to and from 5V gate signals, accounting for dual levels and duration. The general idea of the module is to provide two- way signal conversion for the three classes of 200e signals: audio, CV, pulses. In the case of CV co

Doesn't make much sense to me (But I don't own any modules). The 227e is a quad channel device. In general no one defaults audio as far as I know to 90 degree phase shifts to do quad. All you will wind up with is more potential of cancellation in an acoustic space. And 90 degrees

I might be wrong, but I have always assumed that on the 227e, positions A, B, C, and D are 90 degrees out of phase from one another. So C is 180 degrees out of phase from A and D is 180 degrees out of phase from B. Matt --- In 200e@yahoogroups.com, "Matt Carpenter" wrote: > > Hi
