I did a funny patch with just one osc (259e), no filters, but a 297 is used. 250e is used a lot. I am only turning one knob during the recording, guess which :) http://randomvoltage.com/mp3/oneosconeknob.mp3 By the way, i'll probably be selling my Lightning II in case someone is

Hi Everyone, Speaking of the 250e, here is a tip I gleaned from the manual of the original Model 248 MARF and works perfectly with the 250e. Normally, you use the black edit knob to select a stage, then you press the buttons which correspond to the values and functions you need a

The 200e, in any cabinet size, is not going to work on your lap. It's also worth noting that an 18 module 200e is not too far off the size of a Minimoog Voyager. Minimoog Voyager: 30.5" Wide X 18" Deep X 12" High (when fully upright). 200e: 27.5" Wide X 18" Deep X 14" High (when

Ah, so after a private inquiry based on my last post (re:222e) I need to clarify one of my comments in regards to the "smoothness" of the keys and rings. I don't know the resolution of the sensors, but yes, there are some incremental shifts if you sweep a key over the full range.

I've done some minor editing on that Wiki entry. I agree that there is some bias in the page. It seems like the person who wrote a lot of it had never used a 200e. Some of it seems to be influenced by the Sound on Sound review, in which the reviewer was trying to review the 200e

Yes, that's true. The entry has a bias towards keyboard-oriented performance, as well, it seems and some of the 'work-arounds' are more like trying to force the system to conform to a different school of thought, entirely. On 4/4/08, don hassler wrote: > > The phrase that include

The phrase that includes"...pleasing FM tone," is a red flag for me. I understand what the author is attempting to state, but by introducing that degree of subjectivity immediately imposes a certain bias. --- Matt Carpenter wrote: > I don't know how many of you have read this or
