They are the same thing except for Polyphony. The PEK is 4 voices. The Evolver is 1 voice. The Evolver gave rise to the PEK, so thank the might Evolver gods

Hi - I dont have an Evolver yet (being delivered) so this is just a guess. Try setting the Cutoff frequency to zero then retry the modwheel (routed to cutoff).
