Re: [Doepfer_a100] Problem with Dark Energy

2010-12-13 by andy butler

hi David, I don't think the Dark Energy could be damaged by a 9V wall wart. Is the LED on the DE's wart now failing to illuminate? that means it's dead. andy deividnb1 wrote: > > > Dear All, > > I connected my dark energy to a 9V wall wart by mistake, while > connecting a MIDI ke

hi, currently, there is no doepfer module that does that. (there is an analogue systems module though) but one doepfer module that does this cv/gate to midi notes conversion (A192-2) is in the planning stage for 2011. best regards, Bakis. Bakis Sirros - Parallel Worlds / Intercon

Thanks Bakis! I suppose you are refering to the RS-300 I have just found on their website. However, I will wait for Doepfer's version. Best regards, David --- In Doepfer_a100@yahoogroups.com, Bakis Sirros wrote: > > hi, > > currently, there is no doepfer module that does that. >

Problem with Dark Energy

Dear All, I connected my dark energy to a 9V wall wart by mistake, while connecting a MIDI keyboard to the Dark Energy's wall wart. Now, the MIDI keyboard still works with its wall wart, but the dark energy does not. My question is: what has been damaged, the dark energy or the w

The 149-3 is easily patched from a minimal of A100 modules. I believe that was the reason for Doepfer not to make it in the end. There were some discussions on this years ago. Maybe you should use the search engine on the yahoo groups site.. Greetings, Ernst On Tue, Dec 7, 2010 a

Hi Richard Did you know there's a jumper on the A-156 to make both quantizers use the scale switches? I find it more useful to have both as diatonic rather than one diatonic and the other chromatic. In fact I have 2 A-156s as they are so useful. I use them as S/Hs and also as a C

Doepfer has a sampler module, but it is made more for low-fi retro effects. For hi-fi 44kHz sampling, look to the Analogue Systems sampler/delay. On Mon, Dec 6, 2010 at 3:02 PM, deividnb1 wrote: > > > Hi all! > > I have seen an Electro Harmonix pedal called POG (Poly Octave Gener

I just fixed it. Seems that the socket wasn't creating the circuit like it should when no jack is inserted. I pressed the contacts together with the tip of my screwdriver and now it works. It thought there was a jack and there wasn't! Panic over. Nothing to see hear... move along

A-156 Quantizer problem?

Hi I've just noticed that the top quantizer in my A-156 only quantizes if fed a trigger to its 'Trig In' socket. If nothing is plugged in to this socket then the 'CV OUt' doesn't change at all. The manual says that if nothing is plugged in it should quantize all the time (which i
