I just fixed it. Seems that the socket wasn't creating the circuit like it should when no jack is inserted. I pressed the contacts together with the tip of my screwdriver and now it works. It thought there was a jack and there wasn't! Panic over. Nothing to see hear... move along

you can achieve this behavior by combining multiple doepfer modules. invert the clock output that you want to use, then using VCAs and mults of signals like run/stop and a start pulse you can get the behavior you are looking for. others may be able to chime in with specific patch
