The A-196 has 3 integrated circuits: 74HC4046 (PLL circuit), CD4051 (electronic switch) and NE5532N (Dual OpAmp). The NE5532 is next to the bus connector. All circuits are standard and should be available in your local electronic shop. Of course you may send in the module for rep

Dieter any help...? i guess this means this chip of the PLL module should need replacing...or maybe send your module back for repair... btw, indeed the A196 PLL is a really 'special' module. Bakis Sirros - Parallel Worlds / Interconnected / Memory Geist [Doepfer_a100] group owner

The search system here doesn't seem to work? At any rate I'm interested in phase quadrature, and the status of the module. One thing was not clear to me when reading introductory literature to the module: does it also return the cosine of (any) input signal?

A110 VCO tuning issue

2009-11-22 by propane23

I seem to have an issue with the tuning on one of my A110 VCOs. Normally when i'm going to play i let my modular warm up for about 20 or 30 mins and then tune the oscs, and they stay in tune fine, but one of the VCOs had it's in tune point right at the top end of the tuning pot.
