Hello James, I have two of these A164-1 modules which I use for general reset/start/stop for my sequencers. Don't use the internal gatesystem. Just want a manual hands-on gate for each A140 without having to disturb the patch or use other modules. Anyone? Cheers Jacco

I would suggest getting a manual pushbutton gate module. Doepfer makes the A-164-1 manual gate module and we (www.synthwerks.com) make a couple of modules that will do this quite easily (the MG-1, FST-1T, or any of our FSR modules) plus give you some other useful functions. That

Hello there, I would like to make a small switch on my A140 adsr modules. Looking at some Moog adsr modules I like the idea having a momentary switch to make a fast and easy way to tune the timing with a manual gate. Anyone has experience with this mod? I guess I'll have to find

The PWM function requires a sloped input signal (sawtooth, triangle, sine). It will not work with a typical rectangle shaped signal. But if you use e.g. the sawtooth output of an LFO it will work (the rectangle output of the same LFO is then the non-shuffled clock). You may use a

The first A-157 modules are shipped with the very first version of the firmware. Please report any bugs and/or improvements directly to Christian Assall (software@doepfer.de). It is possible to update the A-157 firmware via USB. Christian will be able to tell you details. I think
