I bought a second hand 191 recently, and have only used it briefly with four oscillators (I only have four at the moment) The effect is pretty interesting, but I quickly realised that one would need 8 oscillators or filters to get a really solid effect, I am building some CGS VCO

Yep, the 143-3 is "just" four LFOs in one module, just a rate control, 4 waveform outs and a frq-range switch per LFO. The 143-1 on the other hand is a real beast. It can be 4 AD-envelopes (which happen to have a *really* pleasing "shape"), 4 variable waveform LFOs or one very co
