The A111 259 expander is a bad idea IMHO, first, we will loose that triangle core VCO and the special FM modulation. Second, not all of us have A111s, in my own case, I don`t like the sound of the A111... I want a different VCO, not another waveshaper, or worse, a waveshaper only

hello pierre, yes,you need the doepfer mcv24 or another midi-cv converter that hasd a polyphonic mode and many cd and gate outputs.but,of course, you also need 4(or better 8)vco's,4 vcf's,4(or 8) adsr's,4vca's and 1 or 4 lfo's for even more animation.but the final sound is very o

Joost, You have hit on my first real concern. I have never purchased any A111 because the CEM availability means limited support in the future. So if the expanded option is the preferred option, I would have to either purchase A111's or forget it. Also as I tend not to worry too
