Hell yeah, the Yamaha filters sound really sweet. They had an old CS5 at my school, and the filters was the best thing on this machine. No idea if one can compare them to the filters of the CS80. Just checked the MOTM leaflet and saw that they also have a Yamaha filter ("MOTM-480

I have had theese kind of problems myself with my A110 and that is why I hate it. I have recalibrated the damn thing about 20 times or so and it always gets out of tune after a while. So now I have given up and use it as an LFO. That's not very helpful and perhaps I have a crazy

Hi, The Korg MS20 filter is easily one of my favourites, you can recognise it anywhere. That is the reason I bought the Analogue Solutions SY02 (and an MS10), this filter is so close to the korg. Dieter has mentioned a few times that he doesn't see the point in making modules tha

Actually, I *Did* mean the A136, which in addition to distortion/waveshaping, can be used for all sorts of utility purposes not intended or described in the user's manual - attenuator, voltage invertor, positive and negative CV source, gain stage, tracking function generator etc.

thanks kevin, sorry, i thought joe was talking about the 136 (see : below), not the 176. seemed plausible since the 136 is also an amplifier..but also thought it to be odd for it to have such a different capability from it's orig purpose. anyway, so that's why i couldn't find it.
