Alan s right. You should use a DD (double density) floppy. And you MUST use ede109.exe to store the OS 4.10. There is NO WAY just to copy the downloaded file

Crashing after a couple of hours could be an overheating issue. Can you fry an egg on the cooling fins? Try pointing a small clip-on fan pointed at the fins.
