Don t send the MIDI file to the VFX. Your Sequencer should be able to store the included sysex as an extra sysex file. In Cakewalk e.g. go to the sysex view.

Actually, you have 21 voices. That s the number of simultanious notes that could be played by a sound (of which you have 60) that was made up of only one wave.

There are two boards underneath the keys for the polyphonic aftertouch. Sometimes the connections between the two get oxydated. Maybe take a look there too
