Have you ever tested Emagic SoundDiver? I use it with my VFX-SD and it works really good. Emagic offers an older version for free download as far as I know.

Yes, try another SysEx dumper. FreeLoader from Alesis is ultra-simple but does its job ! If the dump does not work with FreeLoader also, check out the SysEx
