Hmmmm, might have to get one of these. I thought they'd be pretty much a cut down version of the JV and step up from the D-70. I didn't realise they'd be quite individual... I'd hate to have bought, say a JD990, and for it to sound pretty much like my JV/VX/XR :-/ Cheers, P -----

Well, for that price I'd rather go for Synclavier 3200 which was recently available on eBay (32 Voice, 32 MB RAM, library+extras, and it was $3500)

I didnt buy it either, but if it when for less than 2k, its really not too bad an investment. It looks in really good condition, and looks as though it works. I mean, if you compare it with the IIx, for example which only has eight channels, its not a bad deal.

I sincerely think he is genuine, but without a clue. His rating seems VERY good within eBay. I did put in an offer if it doesn't sell, but he rejected. It's essentially half a Series III with no software rev updates. BTW, does anyone recognise the software revision of the machine
