Roll on USB3 and gear with USB 3 interfaces. USB3 is out there and is about 10 times faster than USB2 so that might also help Just a nadge as too much stuff on

If you go to the audio preferences in Logic, you can set the latency in samples and it gives the corresponding millisecond delay. 1024 buffer size gives 46 ms
