There may be an issue with Calibration Mode printing on high Sierra. I have not upgraded my R&D machine for testing. Will do after Black Friday work. See

The rule to go by: The width of any custom paper size is always the width of the roll of paper in the printer. Everything else works after that. Best, Walker
