I have followed the FUNC+PAGE then power-on, then F3 to begin update. Then I try the new .syx update, but the P3 always displays BAD DATA! What's wrong? Cheers Analog1k --- In analogue-sequencer@yahoogroups.com, "colinfraser_com" wrote: > Folks, > > The P3 v3.1.005 release build

Folks, The P3 v3.1.005 release build and an updated user manual are now in the Yahoo files section. Note that if you upgrade to v3.1.005, any patterns with GRAB or SWAP aux events assigned will need to have these events re-assigned for the new implementation of these events. Othe

Is there any software that can do what the p3 can do? Or would I have to build it in PD or something. Not that I would choose a software version over the hardware as I love knobs. Just curious about the programming.

hi Jim, i'm using a Quasimidi 309 for drums & percussion, a Nord Modular (classic) for synths and a Yamaha A3000 sampler for pretty much everything else. all versatile machines that respond well to external midi-control, which make them great fun to use in combination with a P3.
