thank you very much...my version is a 3.95 very old and strange,it seems there only 3 page in edit mode..in edit pattern the green bleep is only on 1 step "impossible to do instant gratification";-( ,i beleive there is tempo bug too,but not sure (perhaps a intermittant shortcut)....one time the tempo is working ,an another time no work...i hope i will sucess to install the boot89 and the a 3.006 P3 soft...best regards Boops

hi,i find in this soft version("3.95" func + page get the 6 pages of
edit mode ,there is not the shortcut func + step 5 by example..i find
also last step in edit pattern and change last step for 8 but when i
run the P3 in pattern edit only a green bleep on step 1,not on the 8
steps,frustating...soft?my building?i always look for this tempo
problem...everything seems alright for other function for the

-hello,i 've finished today the 2ND main board P3 kit 1.6 with 3.006B,can i try it with my 1.4 others boards ,awaiting that i bootload the 1.4 chip ?i 've got always this tempo problem with this...work - no work (when i put my finger on the 3 pins of the pot, working during a few seconds,ground problem? for my first try,instant gratification,the green blip don't running across the step leds,only on the first step (and the last step is on the 8 it's the same with my second main board and version 3.006b...have you a idea ? i am not very experimented all idea are welcome..thanks

New features only appear in versions later than those they are added to.
Due to restrictions in the space time continuum, I am unable to add new
features to older versions.

Could be you have gbar set to 1, or maybe skip set on steps 2 to 8.
Did you do a full memory initialise before starting to create patterns, i.e.
F1 + 7 at power on ?

As long as the crystal speed matches the CPU, you can use the later chips in the early boards, and vice versa. Each CPU has the crystal speed it is meant to run at stored in flash. hi,Colin, at the end of the loading syx file of the firmware image ,is
there a message by example "SUCCESS"?before i must reboot ?i dont
touch the main board just put the chip in the 1.4 board (it worked
perfectly)and when i unstall it :screen like
this 1/3

this the last screen after boot .To load ,all the boards must be
plugged? cause i don't have the second front panel yet.
about the version 1.4 i try to find this tempo data problem(moove on
the PLED)
the IDC 16 of pot boards are further than 1.6 also my connections are
longer..when you speak about digital noise ..can it disturb the
function data tempo?
i work during 7 days on this two machines...some time i play 10 mn
instant gratification..sounds good..but one has this cpu problem and
the other data tempo no good for the moment,thank you very very
much..it's seem you are the only personn who know this P3 (compare at

If the P3 boots into firmware update mode, and successfully loads the firmware image, then reboots without showing a checksum error, but doesn't get any further, it seems more like a hardware problem. touch the main board just put the chip in the 1.4 board (it worked
perfectly)and when i unstall it :screen like

this the last screen after boot .To load ,all the boards must be

about the version 1.4 i try to find this tempo data problem(moove on
the PLED)
the IDC 16 of pot boards are further than 1.6 also my connections are
longer..when you speak about digital noise ..can it disturb the
function data tempo?
i work during 7 days on this two machines...some time i play 10 mn
instant gratification..sounds good..but one has this cpu problem and
the other data tempo no good for the moment,thank you very very
much..it's seem you are the only personn who know this P3 (compare at
