The Song Mode track (I think Emu calls it the conductor track) can use up to 999 measures if I remember correctly, so you should be fine on that count. As for

Song Mode only has ONE track, though it can have up to 16 channels on it. That s why you can t erase more than one, that s all there is. rEalm I m not trying

I don t think this is possible. You could try erasing some User Patterns and Presets, or better yet just deleting the Factory Patterns that you know for sure
