I took time to type my little wish list. What do you think? - Non-DIY adapter for Yamaha breath controller (I am surprised, that this is not a popular request.) - New version of A-164-1 with better pushbuttons and more compatible gate signal (A-164-1 is to be discontinued, so not

It depends on what your trying to achieve but if for example you want a musical output you would patch it like so: keyboard CV out - to - VCO CV1 (fixed 1/V input) keyboard gate out - to - Envelope gate in a simple patch then would be (if you have the modules) Keyboard CV - VCO -

Excellent feedback, Nicolas! Thank you. Yes, Lippold just yesterday mentioned the reasons for discontinuing the laser etched surface because of durability issues. I didn't get the impression that was still an option, but I suppose I could ask. After seeing Jordan Rudess' Continuu

I've owned one a few months. At the time they offered a third Laser Etched option. If you look around on the site there still are some pictures. I guess the Continuum history is the first surface was unmarked and people did have a problems finding pitches. The laser etched surfac

Hi Folks, I've recently put together a MySpace page for my solo music project "Plausible Music" (http://www.myspace.com/plausiblemusic). It's all analog modular synthesis, almost all coming from my Doepfer A-100 system. I've put up the Vivaldi "Lute Concerto in D". Hope you enjoy

Hi! I have a little problem with the normalled CV1 jack socket of the A-110 oscillator: seems it is sometimes not properly receiving the bus signal after pulling the patch cord. I tried the "Solving contact problems..." procedure of the A-100 FAQ a few times, but that doesn't hel

Maybe 0V...2 and -2...+2 amplification range suits most users. Still, second input with unity gain seems good use of panel space to me. Similar function as in Serge Scaling Processor module. --- In Doepfer_a100@yahoogroups.com, Bakis Sirros wrote: > > 0 to +1 or 0 to -1 amplifica

just a small addition: the output of attenuator 1 could be normalled to output 2. this would save a multiple now and then, require only a small modification to the pcb (sorry doug) and add nothing to the cost. or at least leave the appropriate pin og the output unsoldered so that

0 to +1 or 0 to -1 amplification range would mean actually no amplification at all, only attenuation and inverted scaling... my opinion is that the module is fine as it is, for what it is supposed to do. Bakis Sirros - Parallel Worlds / Interconnected / Memory Geist [Doepfer_a100

Maybe too late, but Wouldn't the A-183-2 be more valuable, if it had simple mixer function too? There is room (at least if omitting the second output) for a unity gain input. Since I have A-133, I would prefer 0...+1 and -1...+1 amplification ranges instead of 0...+2 and -2...+2.
