other modulars used in combination with the A100?

2004-09-29 by synth_freak_2000

hello list, what other modulars, pathable analogue synths and / or separate modules do you use in your studio, in combination with the doepfer a100? which of these are the most compatible with the A100 voltages? bakis. [doepfer_a100] group owner

Lots of talk about VCOs. But I'm actaully more interested in the news about the TKB. After hearing in a previous post that pressure would not be included in the TKB module I decided there was no chance I would be buying one. With pressure...yes, I would definately get one. Doepfe

I've got an A-119 I'm getting rid of. Excellent condition, hoping to get $50 for it. From Sonic Highway: Module A-119 (External Input / Envelope Follower) is designed to allow external audio signals to be integrated into the System A-100. It comprises a pre-amp, envelope follower

2004-09-28 by cuari7

He tells me he's stopped selling Doepfer....and anything else. Apparently his enterprise (Sonic Highway) proved to be unsuccesful and now he is in major debt. This is really sad, as I consider him to be a truly nice guy, always very helpful, a true gentleman. Let's wish Doug good

Hi Bakis (Giasou kouklaki mou), Very interesting indeed, fascinating design ! my gut feeling is that for such a signal flow en control setup, 12 db slopes for both filters will probably be more "musically useful" than 24 db slopes. Just my opinion regards Joost --- In Doepfer_a10

Thanks for all you guys tips on mounting Analogue Systems modules in Doepfer frames. I don't think the alignment of the holes will be a problem, at least nothing a precision drill through a front plate can't fix... I will probably soon order the AS Synthi filter. @Peter Grenader:

I should elaborate a bit on my previous post. I don't want to give the impression that the Plan B is the only thing out there since the 258/9 with expo and linear FM. Blacet has it, MOTM has it as did the Wiard 300. There are probably more. But...I went to great lengths to duplic

Guys - I very rarely toot my own horn, but it you guys want a 259, get a Plan B VCO and Dieter's Wave Multiplier, the A-137. If you want the LFO, add a A-147 to that stack. You will get all of the sound and 95% of the functionality. The original 259 is nothing more than a 258 wit
