Adrian, maybe you want to try the vfxtools I ve posted on the file section. While reading a floppy with vrdf.exe the program reports bad blocks and skips them.

Have You set MIDI CONTROL SYSEX to on? Are OMNI on? Both should be. The OMNI ON is to make shure it recieves the SYSEX no matter what MIDI CHANNEL it was send

If your VFX has not had the keyboard fix, the Apex will *kill it*. Get it off the Apex soonest! Supporting the VFX in the middle exacerbates the keyboard
