Good point! More healthy CMIs is more health for the community. It always saddens me when someone splits their previously functioning (or nearly functioning) CMI into parts and sells them, even if I happen to need parts sometimes. They are extremely robust for a piece of vintage

Hi Med, in my understanding, all LEDs should lid but it maybe some MFX2 specifics. So, I'll be not making any statement here. Be careful with "quiet fans" replacement. With so huge difference 15 vs 40, it probably get you lower LFM. I suggest you to double check that by looking i

LEDs on the mfx2, should they all light up?

2014-05-01 by mederic@gmail.com

Hi all, i have a mfx2 and today I changed my fans for the new Tri-cool 92mm fans. They are very quiet (15db instead of the usual 40db, each) and you get three speed settings to play with. Now I would like to know: Not all LEDs lit up before, I think +5v digital did not light up.
