Just out of curiosity, and apart from the obvious reason to defraud someone of money, why would you put up a fake fairlight auction? This sorta cash, wouldn't anyone first check it out thoroughly? I've been checking here and there on ebay so as to one day, I might purchase a CMI.

MFX3+, Dream Console, etc

Hi Peter, If you do have a 9.34 CMI, it's pretty easy. You need to backup your 9.34 k0, k1 and k2 partitions on three 8" floppy disks using the "pback" util. And then copy the rev 6.03 floppy disks into the k0, k1 and k2 partition and reboot... That's all. But I still don't under

Tape Streamer

Both are fraudulent and have already been reported during the weekend. The original auction for the FAME console was 3772847607 and the original auction for the MFX was 3768010037. I don't know why the Fairlight products attract such a large number of scammers... -- Malte Rogacki
