I m not sure how the permissions got off but the newer OSX s do have stricter methods than before. The fix is easy. Just re-install the InstallQTR-2.7.7.pkg

CS2 is quite old so I d guess that the issue is that it is a PowerPC program not Intel. So its running with the PPC emulator. The current QTR driver is Intel

You need to actually embed Adobe RGB or Gray Gamma 2.2 into the target to get the proper printed values. Then linearize, and then your curve will print linear
