I m not sure how the permissions got off but the newer OSX s do have stricter methods than before. The fix is easy. Just re-install the InstallQTR-2.7.7.pkg

You need to actually embed Adobe RGB or Gray Gamma 2.2 into the target to get the proper printed values. Then linearize, and then your curve will print linear
