Yes I reseated all the DACs and it was gone! And I guess the DAC I bought might not be good, or maybe their pins not being the same are making a bed connection

I dunno- but you could certainly check for AC on the DC lines, just set your multimeter to AC and check between +5 and GND and then also check +12V and GND.

16MB is too small to fit all the banks (35 banks) 256MB should be fine assuming the card is not High Speed . You may wish to try another PC Card media
