Not so new here but this is my first post. Just starting my system and so far have a 259e complex wave version in a otherwise temporally empty 4 space boat. Love the sounds I'm already getting from only just the single module ! but had a question about the 259. When adjust the to

Hi Giorgio, Yeah, I hear you. The 210 would surely give even more routing. I woke up this morning daydreaming of this oscillator configuration: 259e + 272e :-) best wishes, Todd --- On Sat, 3/12/11, Giorgio Sancristoforo wrote: From: Giorgio Sancristoforo Subject: [200e] Re: Buch

I totally love it Todd. I'm still not sure whether I will use one or two oscillators (261e + 259e OR 259e + 210e) I can't wait to put my fingers on the 223e :) keep on truckin' giò > > Hello again Friends, > > > > OK. . . I'm still obsessed with this little Buchla 12-space box as

I am selling my beloved 297 and 291e. Possibly my 259e (original version) with either old or new firmware. I may also trade my 201-18 for a 201e-12. It has walnut sides with recessed brass locks and white case. We can work out a deal depending on version of your 201e-12. Europe p

Dear 200e-ers, Most of you may have already received a note along these lines; I know there is some overlap here with the SDIY, AH, and buchla_modular lists. Anyway, in case you don't intersect any of those, I wanted to post a note here too... My family and I are making our yearl

The tinijax cables will not fit in 3.5mm jacks tho, you will damage them. But you can use the 3.5mm cables in any of the tinijax, the only issue is since they are slightly smaller, they could be intermittent in tinijax jacks that have become accustomed to the tinijax cables. That

There isn't really one, however several people have reported good success with 3.5mm cables as commonly used for the euro format. If you fancy having a dig on Muffs forum, there are a few interesting threads on this topic. Cheers. Sent from my iPhone On 24 Feb 2011, at 05:02 PM,

I know this is a long shot, but does anyone have a 223e and wish they had gotten a 222e instead? I have a late model 222e, but I also have a Lightning, and tend to use that instead for the whole "waving my hands around" sort of thing. Want to trade brains? Thanks, - C Chris Muir

All the way counter-clockwise is the standard position for a gate on the Buchla or a VCA for that matter. Some budget VCAs eliminate the pot altogether so the normal state is the same as turning it all the way down. As an aside you can read stories about the Arp Odyssey which had

that's the 292e. think of the knob for each channel as an initial gain that is there before any other "gain" cv input (such as from the 222e) if you have it anything other than fully ccw then some of the audio signal will be let through and continue sounding as you are experienci

while I'm enjoying exploring my new 222e I am curious as to why the tones/pitches I produce when playing continue to sound except when I turn the 292e channel it is connected all the way down. It that a function of the 222e or the 292e? Suggestions?

I think I can shine some light here. Cents are a linear way to measure the space between the intervals you are dealing with. Frequency is an exponential measurement I'm going to avoid dealing with since cv/oct as well as the 222e's numeric increments are linear. So in Equal tempa

The visual option is to so the same but use the 250e in continuous mode. In this way you can see how the voltages vary over time as the stages are selected. That said here are some 266e ideas: 1) Run the QRV output into the PULSE input on the 281e. The 281e pulse output will appr

My suggestion is simple. Better than giving you examples, that could dictate my ideas into yours, I give you a little experiment: just patch (one at a time) the outputs of the 266e to the pitch cv in of the 259e oscillator (a sinusoid would be the best) and listen. Try different
