Hi Florian - its not a slow periodical swing in pitch, its much more of a random walk within limits, sometimes small increments, sometimes slightly larger increments...but its plus/minus around the root note.

I there's no suggestion on what the problem is, perhaps I can send it back to Germany for analysis/repair ? Is there a cost associated with Doepfer fixing a faulty module ?

Hi Hi Tested the A190-8 but no shuffle is supported, my A190-2 does this very well. Also found the A190-8 has a rather high latency ( midiclock in > trigger outs)where the A190-2 is rock solid. Not a good thing and therefore rather useless. Hope there will be a software update be

I don't own a Grid, but I think the problem is, that the Grids expects a reset when the clock is stopped. In the end you were on the right track, when you pressed the reset button, while the clock was stopped, but you did not remove the yellow cable which additionally caused a re

I had exactly the same issue when running a COTK Arpeggiator, Dark Time and MAQ together. Did you also activate the Midi Timecode Destinations for your Midi ports in Cubase? For me that solved this problem. Good luck, Karel.

Looks interesting. The main problem is to de-solder the chips from a doubled-sided plated-through board without damage. And then to find out if they are OK. I'll see if I can find a service provider who can do this job. But that's a project for the next year ... Best wishes Diete

Personally i dont mind to do the unthinkable and scavenge my 2nd spare AX-73, these akai synths sound awesome but the control design around the cem chips is inflexible in many ways, for instance the only available lfo is also not midi/external trigger-able. I do agree its not the

Actually a vintage eurorack version of the dark energy 2 would not be a bad idea for a new module release. They are only available as desktop modules right now but one probably would like to euro rack these up as well.

If the AX-73 is still working I think it's not a good idea to remove the chips for building A-111-5. I'm against the cannibalization of working devices for chip harvesting. If the AX-73 is defective I'll be happy to buy the CEM3394 from you and to collect them until a noteworthy
