There is a good on-line guide to modular programming at: http://www.cim.mcgill.ca/%7Eclark/nordmodularbook/nm_book_toc.html It uses the Nord Micro Modular as a model, but the concepts are still valid. Steven

Where can you buy the pdf of Electronic Music, I tried to find it, but couldn't. The second hand prices are too much for me for a hard copy. I don't mind reading straight from pdf anyway. Thanks also for the pointer to synth secrets at SOS, I'll read those aswell, they look good.

it probably will because it will have a digital/eprom type chip that usually run on 5 volts. but it is possible for a onboard regulator but i doubt it. lance --- In Doepfer_a100@yahoogroups.com, "synthhobo" wrote: > > Does anyone know if the new A-190-2 low cost MIDI to CV module

Hehe. If one has 4HP of space left, a 4HP unit fits better of course. Having a knob at each 4HP, makes the knob spacing same as in A-155 sequencer... not totally un-ergonomic. Still, I would prefer a 6HP 3- channel unit. Space usage efficiency would be the same. --- In Doepfer_a1

How about a 6HP 3-channel attenuator? It could be possible, if the jacks were in rows of two. Perhaps the ergonomics would be better then due to more horizontal "headroom" for the knobs. (I would prefer all knobs up and all jacks down arrangement a la Cwejman, but that is just me
