As you may already know, A-163 can be modified for DC-coupling. I wonder, what is the use of (input or output?) AC-coupling here? --- In Doepfer_a100@yahoogroups.com, achtung_999 wrote: > > If the redesign of the A163 happens, adding a AC coupled/DC coupled switch > would maybe b

My wishlist. - Better push-buttons for A-164-1 Manual Gate. - Some old modules re-designed for less HP or for more useful features. As an example, A-163 Voltage Controlled Frequency Divider takes 8HP. Using only 6HP it might be possible to have functions of Serge Divide by 'N' Co

Since one of the waves in my MiniWave has a sine, you'd think that could be used as a decent sine output. The trouble is every VCO produces a slightly different waveform. I can only calibrate the MiniWave for *one* VCO or LFO - if I patch another one, the sine is audibly distorte

I would have thought that, assuming the correct triangle amplitude was applied, it shouldn't matter what the source of the waveform was. I base this on a quick look at Tim's schematic and associate blurb and am happy to be corrected if I am wrong. Cheers, Adam-V --- In Doepfer_a1

You could send the internal VCO's signal into any oscillator's sync input and the slave should follow the PLL's output signal. That would be probably the simplest way I could think of. On Thu, Dec 4, 2008 at 4:50 PM, Doug wrote: > Hi folks, I have an A-196 PLL, and I have a simpl

Sounds good in theory but the external tri-to-sine most probably not perform well. The converters will have calibrated by the user to *each* specific oscillator triangle wave patched in. I doubt most would bother pull out the module, hook up a scope trim the calibration pots ever

PLL CV Question

2008-12-04 by Doug

Hi folks, I have an A-196 PLL, and I have a simple question. The internal VCO seems to behave much better given the LPF input than an external VCO. The LPF signal is typically way too jittery for an external VCO. The only way I've been able to get an external VCO to work is to pa
