I thought I would point out that in the analog realm, the Absolute Value function is really a full-wave rectifier (or AM detecter). If you input an audio signal, and smooth out the ripple by patching the absolute value to a slew limiter, the patch becomes an envelope follower. Jo

I think this could be a good module, but if adding attenuators why not also have outputs for the attenuated signals as they are too. In that case it will also be an attenuator that most will use more perhaps... anyway I am interested in this module, but it doesn't top my list. --
