Hi Collin, No problem at all. You just need a db25->db9 converter to plug the Series III on the LaserJet db9 serial port. The good thing is that the printer is shared with my other computers (using the parallel port) without any cable manipulation. The printing quality is excelle

I totally agree with all of Gerald's views Kevin about Series IIx and Series III. 2 very diferent instruments. The III with HD installed as standard allowed more room for more complex software programming resulting in a host of advanced features. The series iix had its own style
