I recently introduced myself to the group, I'm a brand new Fairlight user with a CMI III/ MFX2 system (yes, a bit of a hybrid). Being a brand new user, I could use some basic operations tips and advice. I have some of the manuals, but not the most basic "Get up & Running" manual.

Are you sure? I thought it looked like the cards from the front of a standard S3 goes at the top set of ports and the rear go to the bottom? I've seen a picture of a loaded rack with this type of configuration... I could be completely wrong, but this is what I recall. Cheers, Pet
