Pro Rec Digital Domain CD Fairlight CMI and soundfonts?

I am contemplating buying the Pro Rec Fairlight CMI Digital Domain sample CD, to use it to make soundfonts. Are the sounds of good quality to make soundfonts? Can they be looped? Any advice greatly appreciated. Cheers Antony

Hi Dustin, MFX is basically a hard disk-based recording and editing system. A Series 3 machine can be upgraded to an early version of MFX, allowing direct to disk recording and some editing facilities. To do this, a Series 3 needs to be fitted with a CMI 41 card. This is the Wave

Master Card Problem

A plea for some help from somebody in the group. I have been trying to sort my Master Card to solve a problem with my IIx. The computer part works well but the sound bit doesn't and I suspect the Master Card. When I run the CMI diagnostics disk for the Channel cards it throws up
