Hi all! Recently acquired a CMI IIx in good working condition. Started off by making a fresh copy of the "ignition key" since it was almost broken in two. Just finished a complete cleaning of the alpha-keyboard, the main-keyboard is next. Not sure if this has been done before (if

:) Well, there may be a loose cable, connecting when the drive is in a certain position, or the head assembly may have been offset a bit and the heads make a proper connection only when upside down. Alternatively, a card may be making a false connection, except when upside down.
