my son is nearly 3 and was caught patching my Serge TKB. he was patching the triggers say 10 and 12, 15 and 16 I then noticed that when he touched the pads say 10 then both 10 ad 12 would light up!......this may be old news but I thought it was great!

I use Genelecs, and once in a while Yamaha actives when I need something small and portable. Prefer actives over amp'ed as a matter of convenience - one less elephant to worry about in the studio. Listen to different combinations and decide on your favorite color. Regards, Bill _

when i had my system i used Bryston and Hafler power amps and JBL 4311 and 4312. Also used Mackie powered , NHT Pro powered and Yamaha MSP10M powered. I'm really old school and my ears are old so my favorite combo were the 4311s or 12s with Bryston or Hafler power amps ( 300 watt

If you try to draw too much power from a Serge power supply, it will go into shut-down. This is what you are seeing. So yes, the PS4 doesn't have the power to drive your modules. Connect one of the modules to the PS2, making sure you run the earth wire between the two power suppl

dual clock woes...

the dual clock module on my serge just went south. both modules are dead. it seems to output nothing but if i flip the "on" switch, the output voltage goes high and stays there. any thoughts and where to begin trouble shooting this circuit? james r. coplin

Hi Andrew, no harm possible. But when set to self-oscillation, both the DSG/DTG can only go up to a specific frequency before the oscillation breaks up, unlike a dedicated NTO or PCO. You can try it out without any modulation patched, just by slowly turning the attack/release clo
