What specs is your computer? (including chip, motherboard, graphic card, ram, etc) What soft do you use? Is the unit connected via Midi or USB? Cheers Elea

i mean i get choppy response when i move the faders quickly, is there a way to smoothen the choppyness out?? lets say: i move the fader fast, from 0 to 127,
2007-01-18 by Elea
What do you mean by “smoothness”? In what context are you talking about? I don’t understand very well what you mean… Maybe you could try to explain
2007-01-18 by Elea
All the steps for configuring the hardware are detailed in the manual. You don’t need bcfedit. Although it might look easier, I find it very unreliable.

Yes, I see what you mean…the thing is that the BC2000 pots can be configured in many ways. I saw a post once about a way to config them linearly or

You re right that audio driver/sound card latency doesn t affect MIDI latency... I just tested and what you said is true. I was mixed up. But... Try this

What does soundcard latency has to do with midi data? ASAIK, the BCF/BCR2000 units send midi data to the computer. I think souncard latency is a different

It doesn t matter how low the latency on my sound card is set (I ve gone as low as 3 ms). I ve run a test comparing the nonmotorized faders on my kurzweil
2007-01-16 by Erik Bowen
Yep, another problem, which I think arises from the same problem mentioned in your last email. If you move the fader/pot slowly, it will probably sound a lot
2007-01-16 by Erik Bowen
This is the achilles heel of the BC2000 series... The midi faders/knobs on other nonmotorized devices that I ve used have all been much more responsive than

... the bcf will respond as fast as you like, its all doen to your soundcard latency. Mine is set to 5ms and the faders and knobs respond immediately. Check
