Gate Sequencer photos added

2007-02-19 by Andrew

I just added a couple pics (in the 'Oozitronics' album) of my Gate Sequencer. Works like a charm now that I've swapped in LM358s :) One pic shows how I arranged the PCBs in order to squeeze it into a 4.5" wide frac panel. It's amazing how much fun this thing is! thanks Ken! Andre

If the resistors are connected in series with each being a calculated value then you will have a series of voltages as required. You will need to be wary of what you are connecting to as the impedance of that circuit could well upset the balance of your series divider network and

I would like to have a Rotary knob that would select between eight specific voltages (to come out of the rotary to a jack). The voltages would *not* have to be exact, maybe like within 0.5 volts (+ or -) of the intended voltage. Could I do this by supplying +10v to eight differen

I think that was Jeff Pontius's panel - no longer with us. It is a single CV Cluster. You can add the second Base and CV input by adding 100K resistors in parallel to the ones for the single Base and CV input. These go to op amp summing nodes so no extra mixer needed. John Loffin

The caps were to stop the op-amps oscillating, should that have been the case. It apparently wasn't. Pull out the 4051 if it is in a socket. The output should drop to zero. if it doesn't, the problem is with the output buffer and the circuitry around that - such as the mix input
