OK. First you can only record from your Line-In unless you have an AUDIO INTERFACE. The midiman is obviously a midi device only. You have to choose that

... hi, MIDI doesn t transmit audio signals, just control signals. if you want to record the MD into, say, peak, you ll need to connect the MD s audio outputs
