On the Yamaha modules the pad type is set in the TRIGGER menu. It then applies to all drum kits. It is not set at the individual drum kit level. Keith

You need to set the pad midi channel to 10 for each pad. 10 is drums in midi. Leave the program change message set to -- (no value). Hit the function button
