Thanks Silas and Dieter for the information. One of the racks in my system is from 1999 apparently, so it looks like I have some hours of fun ahead of me as curl all the jack contacts on the modules... Can anyone recommend a pin-for-pin replacement jack socket? It may be quicker

That's great Dieter, How do different capacitor value affect the range in time, i.e. if I replaced 100nF with 1000nF or 10nF what sort of difference would I notice? I was thinking that if it's a large difference to make a little pcb and have an additional switch to change from st

my A-185-2 has a difference of 2cents ( tonal) between the different switches. this seems to be too mutch for me to name it "precision" Adder. I hoped that i can trim this difference away. when i think that 1 Volt is divided by 12 to get semitones, 2 cents (of a Semitone) is not

I noticed yesterday that when the my Velleman oscilloscope is on, it adds a high-pictched frequency to the audio signal. Is there a way to wire an off switch to this unit? Bryan

I need to calibrate my A-185-2: need some instructions please

Hi, as sayed in the title i like to calibrate my A-185-2 precission adder. It is not exactly 1V and not all Voltage adders are exactly 1V. ( no, this is no critsm ) I must calibrate my VCOs and i like to have the precision adder as a reference. I see there are only two trimmers.

So all you would need is a 4HP panel in the Doepfer case the took system gnd to a black banana socket. This saves alot of money, cables and space Bakis, why would you prefer to do it with banana to mini panels? Additionally, on complex patches, tracing cables would be easier. TOn

so far, i didn't have any problems interfacing my serge to any of the other modulars i have. indeed, serge working voltages range is +/-5volts, so it works fine with the doepfer, but as you would expect, in some instances, the output voltage of the doepfer modules will be partial

i asked this before. when you use a vca in the patch its most likely the best point to go to the mixer after this module. but you can use any other output at any stage of your patch to either monitor the noises at this point or even record it, its not a matter of level or anythin
