The Haas effect is even possible with the A-188-1 (no multitap BBD required) or each other delay unit. You simply have to select a delay time less than ~ 30 ms. Best wishes Dieter Doepfer > -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- > Von: Doepfer_a100@yahoogroups.com > [mailto:Doepfer_a1

hi, just some thoughts off the top of my head... why 2 oscillators if you're seeking a "processor" type synth? maybe try the a108 LPF or the ssm filter (instead of the diode lpf), which you can use as an oscillator (very good w/oscillating filter possible through wave multiplier)

Phil, it's the very first demo and we wanted to show what is possible with a VCO (A-110) and LFO only. Of course more complex examples will come in the future. From my point of view such a simple demo may tell you more about the possibilities of the module than a very complex dem

hello jean, some time ago i had the chance to try the first prototype of the a188/2. it can indeed be used as a multitap delay, but the delay times on bbd ic's are quite short, so you won't get these long multitap cascades that a digital unit can produce. the strength of the a188

1. I corrected my first message to 10 bit (i.e. 1024 steps). 2. The encore expressionist is Midi-to-CV (not CV-to-Midi). E.g. our MCV24 even has 12 bit resolution. 3. It would be no problem to use a 12, 14 or 16 bit ADC but we found that 16 bit is not required or useful for most

If you replace the 7805 by an 7809 on the A-100AD5 adapter you obtain +9V (or 7808 for +8V). If you plug such a modified A-100AD5 to the A-100 bus board you have +9/+8V available instead of +5V. But pay attention not to connect modules that require +5V (e.g. A-190, A-191, A-113)

I would run an entirely separate buss for your 9v stuff. You can adapt a wall wart transformer and use screw terminal strips (which you could probably find at Maplin) for your +9 and ground buss. Make sure your new ground buss is attached to the Doepfer ground buss. Electronics12
