I would definitely prefer the internal VCO to be 1V/oct. There's nothing to stop the unit having an external clk input and use whatever is available for the more experimental sounds. I suppose it's also possible to do it the other way round, use an existing VCO and the external s

the benefit of having an 1v/oct response is also that it is easier to set up an external filter for the bbd, if you want to get rid of the clock noise. i don't know what i'd prefer for the bbd, i'm fine with both solutions. but it is for sure important that the digital delay will

hello anton, 500 ms delays on a bbd-module would greatly decrease the frequency range of the audio signal. even the biggest bbd-based delays cannot output frequencies greater than 1 khz with a delay time of 500 ms. so digital delays are much better for such tasks. best wishes ing
