Hello everyone; I assume the battery on the Q133 stores the date and time settings in the Series III. Since my machine has started "forget" those settings each time it is powered down I guess it's time to change the battery. However this seems to be a sort of sepcial 3.6V lithium

Hi Malte Here is a link: http://store.batteryspecialists.com/tl5135.html The exact type is: TL-5135 I did a search on google for battery TL-5135. It's okay to remove the battery without putting in a new one. Only date and time will not be correct, but the CMI will work just fine.

Hi James, I used to run an NEC Multi-Sync 15 inch which worked fine on my MFX. I heard of incompatibility even with these on the larger screen sizes though. Peter Weilk would know for sure, he was involved in a lot of troubleshooting on the MFX 2 as I'm sure you know. Cheers Tony

Btw, just as a price comparison for what you get for your money compared to some other top of the range products. 17k Buchla 200. Very expensive, but absolutely totally worth the price because of the complex hybrid design. 10k Will buy you a monster Synclavier. Expect a Power PC
