You're right. Using the TurboSCSI card requires major backplane and wavesuper mods (if you have Rev1). (However, you can run Rev11 software without the TurboSCSI option, as long as you can live with a limited number of simultaneous MDR tracks.) In any case, a Rev1 wavesuper needs

there are also hardware mod change notices to be performed on the WaveSuper in order to support Rev 11.34 specs and usage with the TurboSCSI card. there are also two revisions of the WaveSuper board. I'm not sure of Rev 1 WaveSuper's can be upgraded from 1M to 4M Private RAM. Yup
