This is wired...I use a 1400 with UT14 MIS inks. Print with QTR and curves for the EEM paper (for matte papers) and a curve downloaded from the files section

The R1800 does not have ABW mode like the 2400, 3800, etc. I assume you printed out the 101 Step ChartThrob on the R1800...were you using the Epson Print

Jeff, 55% ink limit to attain Dmax is a good thing. It just means that you don t have to use too much ink get get density. This number is not uncommon. Shilesh
