Just got an 808 after putting it off for a long time :) However the sync with the P3 is all over the gaff. Im hoping this is just due to my inepititude with programming the 808 but ive tried many things at this stage and its not syncing properly. Its seems to be running at 4/3 ti

Try this using the drum machine as a buffer to 'boost' the signal: midi merger -> drum machine -> P3 -> to wherever I think the midi merger's signal is close the limits set by the midi spec. Some machines will work well with it. However, the P3's opto may not be quiet fast enough

Very weird problem. My first thought was that the merger should only be accepting midi clock from one input. Depending on how it decides to switch between which input is active for clock, you may not always have clock passing through the merger as you expect. Assuming that's not

Hi there, i wrote a little programm, that allows kind of editing the P3 sysex files, as they are stored by midiox. Therefore I called it P3_OX. With this programm you cannot make sysex dumps, you still need midiox for that, but you can load the sysex files and then deal with them
